The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Pharmacy – Al-Nahrain University organized a scientific seminar titled “The Role of the Green Economy in Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development,” attended by a distinguished group of faculty members, staff, and students.

🎯 Objective:
The seminar aimed to highlight the importance of transitioning toward a green economy as a strategic solution to address environmental challenges, and to promote sustainability concepts across various sectors, contributing to achieving a balance between economic growth and the preservation of natural resources for future generations.

📌 The seminar was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Noor Amjad Farhan, who addressed several key topics, including the concept of the green economy, its mechanisms in reducing environmental pollution, and its role in supporting sustainable development. She also presented practical models and international experiences in this field.
