Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy at Al-Nahrain University, Professor Dr. Haider Bahaa Sahib, the College signed a scientific and training cooperation memorandum with Dar Al-Tib Al-Ilmi Office, represented by its Director, Specialist Pharmacist Dr. Nada Haider Hassan, as part of efforts to strengthen academic and professional collaboration and to enhance the scientific and practical skills of students and graduates.

The memorandum was signed by Professor Dr. Haider Bahaa Sahib, Dean of the College, and Dr. Nada Haider Hassan, in the presence of Assistant Professor Dr. Shaimaa Hussein Hammoudi, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Students, and Lecturer Dr. Ammar Abdul Hussein, Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs.

The memorandum aims to organize specialized scientific and training workshops, developmental and qualification courses, as well as practical and theoretical training programs in the fields of pharmaceutical manufacturing, quality assurance, quality control, bioavailability and bioequivalence studies, and pharmacology. These activities are intended to strengthen the practical aspect of the educational process and prepare students and graduates in line with labor market requirements.

The agreement also includes the organization of field training programs within pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities to introduce participants to production lines, pharmaceutical quality systems, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements, and pharmaceutical product registration procedures. In addition, students will have the opportunity to gain direct exposure to the pharmaceutical work environment and acquire specialized professional experience.

This initiative is part of the College of Pharmacy’s strategy to expand scientific and training partnerships with reputable specialized institutions, thereby enhancing the quality of pharmaceutical education and equipping students and graduates with the skills needed to keep pace with modern developments in the pharmaceutical sector.
