The Dean of the College of Pharmacy at Al-Nahrain University, Professor Dr. Mowaffaq Mohammed Gharib, attended the third Iraq Education Conference on Wednesday, 28 October 2026, accompanied by the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Ammar Abdul Hussein.

The conference was held at the University of Baghdad on 28 and 29 October 2026, under the theme “From Education to Development: Global Partnerships and Universities Shaping the Future.” It addressed several key topics, including the development of education, the promotion of international partnerships, aligning educational outcomes with labor market requirements, and the role of scientific research in supporting development.

The participation of the College’s leadership reflects its commitment to keeping pace with current directions in higher education development, exploring experiences and initiatives that contribute to improving the quality of education and scientific research, and expanding opportunities for academic cooperation among educational institutions.
