The College of Pharmacy at Al-Nahrain University, represented by the Psychological and University Guidance Unit and in cooperation with the Human Rights Division and the Women’s Empowerment Unit, organized an awareness seminar titled “The Sanctity of Blood,” attended by a number of faculty members, staff, and students.

🎤 The seminar was delivered by Lecturer Dr. Haider Amer Abdullah, Head of the Human Rights Unit, who addressed the humanitarian and legal dimensions of the concept of the sanctity of blood and the importance of embedding these values within the university community.

🎯 Objective of the Seminar:
The seminar aimed to promote a culture of respect for human life, enhance awareness of human rights principles, highlight the dangers of violence in all its forms, and reinforce ethical and religious values that emphasize the protection of human life.

● The concept of the sanctity of blood in Islamic teachings and international laws
● The importance of the right to life as a fundamental human right
● The negative impacts of violence on individuals and society
● The role of educational institutions in promoting a culture of social peace
● Strengthening legal and ethical awareness among students

The seminar emphasized the importance of spreading a culture of tolerance and rejecting violence, contributing to building a safe and stable society.
