As part of the distinguished scientific achievements realized by the College of Pharmacy at Al-Nahrain University in the fields of research and innovation, Assistant Lecturer Yasser Mohammed Kadhim from the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry / College of Pharmacy – Al-Nahrain University has been granted a patent issued by the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control / Ministry of Planning, as part of a collaborative research effort with a group of researchers.

“Antibacterial and Anti-inflammatory Pharmacological Effects of Some Newly Synthesized Naproxen Derivatives on Male Albino Mice.”
🎯 Objective of the Patent:
The patent aims to synthesize and develop new chemical derivatives of naproxen and study their pharmacological effectiveness, particularly in combating bacteria and reducing inflammation. This contributes to advancing scientific efforts toward developing more efficient and safer pharmaceutical compounds that may be utilized in future pharmaceutical industries and therapeutic applications.
