The College of Pharmacy at Al-Nahrain University Honors the Best Research Papers Presented at Its First International Conference
The College of Pharmacy at Al-Nahrain University honored the best scientific research papers presented at its First International Conference, in recognition of outstanding scientific excellence and remarkable research efforts.
Among the awarded research papers was the study titled:
“The Impact of GSTP1 Gene on Predicting Oxaliplatin-Based Chemotherapy Clinical Outcome in Iraqi Colorectal Cancer Patients”
which was selected for its scientific rigor and significant relevance in both medical and clinical fields. The study explores the role of the GSTP1 gene in predicting the clinical outcomes of Oxaliplatin-based chemotherapy in Iraqi patients with colorectal cancer.
The research was conducted by a distinguished research team comprising:

•Dr. Qasim Sharhan Al-Mayyah
•Dr. Fawaz Al-Aloush
In recognition of her exceptional scientific contribution and her active role in the success of the conference, Dr. Rehab Abdulmutalib Jawad was awarded the Shield of Excellence and Innovation by the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Haider Baha Sahib.
