The College of Pharmacy – Al-Nahrain University is pleased to announce the Second International Scientific Conference 2026, to be held under the theme:
Applied Pharmaceutical Education
“From Knowledge to Practice… Pharmaceutical Education that Makes an Impact”
The conference aims to strengthen the role of applied pharmaceutical education in developing scientific, clinical, and research skills, contributing to the preparation of competent professional pharmacists capable of meeting labor market demands and advancing the quality of healthcare services.
This conference serves as a scientific platform bringing together researchers, academics, and professionals from local and international universities, academic institutions, medical centers, and pharmaceutical industries to discuss the latest developments in pharmaceutical sciences, drug manufacturing, and pharmaceutical innovation.

The Organizing Committee invites faculty members, researchers, postgraduate students, and all those interested in the pharmaceutical field to participate by submitting their research and scholarly work within the conference themes.

Participation Requirements
The research must fall within the conference themes.
An abstract of no more than 250 words must be submitted.
Submitted papers must be written in English.
The full paper must be submitted in both PDF and Word formats.
All submissions will undergo scientific peer review by specialized committees.
The Scientific Committee reserves the right to accept, reject, or request revisions to submitted papers.

Evaluation Process
Initial screening to ensure compliance with submission guidelines
Peer review by specialized reviewers
Evaluation based on quality, originality, and scientific methodology
Notification of acceptance
Authors will be notified of abstract acceptance or rejection within two weeks of submission.
The decision regarding full papers (acceptance, revision, or rejection) will be communicated via email.
An official acceptance letter will be issued after required revisions (if any) are completed. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings or in scientific journals approved by the Scientific Committee.

This conference continues the scientific journey of the College of Pharmacy since 2014, reaffirming its academic and research role in serving the medical and healthcare community and strengthening its scientific standing at both local and international levels.
