The Department of Clinical Laboratory Sciences at the College of Pharmacy – Al-Nahrain University, in cooperation with the University Psychological Counseling Unit and the Women’s Affairs Unit, organized a scientific seminar titled “Common Mistakes in Medication Use,” attended by a number of faculty members, staff, and students of the college.

The seminar was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Tayba Majid, a faculty member in the department. It aimed to enhance students’ medication awareness and highlight the importance of proper drug use and adherence to medical and pharmaceutical guidelines.

The seminar addressed the most common mistakes in medication use, including taking medications without consulting specialists, non-adherence to prescribed doses, as well as the improper use of certain medications. It emphasized the importance of promoting pharmaceutical awareness to help protect the health of individuals and society.
