“The College of Pharmacy Participates in the Creativity and Excellence Award Exam and Achieves Top Rankings.”

The College of Pharmacy at the University of Al-Nahrain has participated in the highly competitive second edition of the national Creativity and Excellence Award examination for top pharmacy graduates of the academic year 2023-2024. The examination was organized by the College of Pharmacy at the University of Baghdad and was conducted entirely online using the Moodle platform.

A total of 74 pharmacy graduates from 35 Iraqi colleges, including 12 public and 23 private institutions, participated in the competition. Students from the College of Pharmacy, University of Al-Nahrain, distinguished themselves by securing top positions. Pharmacist Zaid Faras Adnan achieved fifth place, Ali Hazem Ali secured eighth place, and Basma Mathna Ismail claimed the nineteenth position.

At the conclusion of the examination, all participants were honored with certificates of appreciation signed by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Abboud, in recognition of their efforts and excellence.

The Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Dr. Haider Baha Sahib, personally congratulated the participating students and commended their outstanding performance and dedication. He expressed his unwavering support and encouragement for their future academic and professional endeavors, and presented them with the prestigious Creativity and Excellence Shield as a token of appreciation for their achievements.
